Singer / Actor
Musical Theatre Career.
Rebecca’s life changed when she performed in a community production of Beauty and the Beast at age 13. Since then, musical theatre has been a lasting love affair. She’s passionate about the relationship of music and dialogue - telling stories in a way that touch the heart.
Opera Career.
Rebecca’s earliest memories of singing are in the Opera Idaho Children’s Chorus. Her first ever production was singing the role of Mabel in a youth production of Pirates of Penzance in the 5th grade. She cultivated that love of opera as she studied under Cindy Dewey at Utah State University and continues to love telling stories through music.
Choral Works.
Choir nerd is definitely how Rebecca identified all growing up - of course she submitted to Eric Whitacre’s virtual choir of Lux Aeterna. (iykyk) Now she sings with the Fifth Ave Presbyterian Choir in NYC and was featured in their upcoming album of the works of Ruth Watson Henderson.
Acting & Film.
Rebecca has always felt more herself on stage than anywhere else in the world. However, she discovered a love of storytelling through film while participating in a 72 hour film festival where she took home Best Supporting Actress.
